Based on my deep fascination for the japanese culture and textile art, for

its beauty, sensitivity and passion of detail I founded MIYU in 2011.

The antique, japanese silk kimonos, haoris and obis dating back to the

Showa and Heisei periods are exquisitely beautiful, with splendid colors,

delicate patterns and images and wonderful techniques.

In Berlin they get unstitched and carefully cleaned and new unique pieces

and small series are created out of them. Beside the pieces of the collection
